All residents of Skullport are considered to be roleplaying at least a level 5 character.

The level and experience shown in your character record reflects your participation in our In Character roleplaying forums, and not necessarily the level you are roleplaying. When your character's level is the same as the level you are roleplaying and your character levels, it is up to you if you want to roleplay to that new level.

What you must roleplay is your character's selected gender, race, alignment, profession(s)*, and abilities. The skills and feats are optional to roleplay as they were selected to be utilised on this site.

    * example for new members starting off: you are roleplaying a character with one level of fighter, and six levels of sorcerer, and your character panel displays Fighter (1)/Sorcerer(1), you can still roleplay as if your character has six levels of sorcerer.
